Thanks for visiting Outpost 62's Royal Ranger web home. We meet at Clearwater Christian Center in Paramount, CA, and are one of several Royal Rangers outposts in the Southern California Harbor Section.
We meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm at the corner of Orizaba and Monroe in Paramount, CA. Our street address is 16215 Orizaba Ave. (map) If you're ever in our area, please feel free to drop by and say hello!
Please feel free to send an e-mail to our Senior Commander, Tony Gage, if you'd like more information about Royal Rangers Outpost 62:
Our BB-Gun team had a chance to compete at the sectional tourney. This was our section's first year, so only two teams competed. We trounced Outpost 125 to take first. (In all fairness, they only had one guy. But will take any win we can!) A good job by Joesph, Daniel and Kenny
Four boys competed at sectional Ranger of the Year. All four did well:
You deserve your medallions gentlemen. A special congratulations to Kenny who earned the rating of Excellent and moves on to district competition.
At the Commanders Conference in San Juan Capistrano, our outpost's color guard placed first in Southern California. Congratulations to Andrew, Christian, Daniel, Hussani and Kenny. And special thanks to the cadets from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera.
As a result of winning the district championship, our boys were the Color Guard at the Royal Ranger Dodger Day at Dodger stadium. They were all worried about how well they would perform. No need - they did great and we were honored to have them represent us.
Be sure to browse our online photo album. Our photo gallery has plenty of pictures of us at outings, meetings and events. We hope you enjoy the photos!
Don't miss exciting events such as campouts, hikes and a Dodger game. Check with our outpost leaders for details about future events.
Joan Gonzalez is the first young man from Outpost 62 to be awarded the Royal Ranger Gold Medal of Achievement. The GMA is equivalent to the Boy Scout's Eagle Scout award.
Kenny is following in his footsteps having earned the Silver Medal, the final step before the GMA.
Congratulations gentlement!
