This was the first year that the Royal Ranger of the Year competition was based on the new program rules. These boys were tested at Outpost 125 and Kevin received the Outstanding commedation. All the boys were awarded Section Ranger of the Year medalions.
Eight boys were awarded section honors. Andrew (O/P 62) and Kody (O/P 125) were our Ranger Kids winners.
Daniel (O/P 62), Luke (O/P 125) and Paul (O/P 61) were our Discovery Rangers winners.
Kenny (O/P 62) was our Adventure Ranger of the Year.
Kevin (O/P 125) and Simon (O/P 62) were our Expedition Rangers of the Year.
Daniel, Kenny and Kevin earned the right to compete in the Southern California District competition. For the Western Division, this was held in Whittier. Kevin again earned the Oustanding level.
Kevin moved on to the regional playoffs in Torrance. For the third time he earned the Outstanding level, an amazing accomplishment. Congratulations Kevin!
