This year we had seven boys from our section compete in the Royal Ranger of the Year competition. We joined with the Foothill Section which had a number of boys compete as well. All the boys worked hard for their medallions. Paul, Kenny and Kevin earned the Outstanding ranking.
Angel and Joseph (from O/P 62) were our Ranger Kids winners.
Hampton (O/P 62), Patrick (O/P 125) and Paul (O/P 125) were our Discovery Rangers winners.
Kenny (O/P 62) was our Adventure Ranger of the Year.
Kevin (O/P 125) was our Expedition Rangers of the Year.
Patrick, Paul, Kenny and Kevin earned the right to compete in the Southern California District competition in Norco. From there, Kenny and Kevin went to Scottsdale, AZ to compete in the Regional event. Kevin earned the top score for the Expedition Rangers at the Regional and earned the title of National Royal Ranger of the Year.
Kenny and Kevin are now eligible to attend the regional playoffs in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kevin once again earned the Outstanding level. Congratulations boys!
